Goshuin number 44 is from the 北向観音 (Kitamuki Kannon Temple). While most temples face south, this temple faces north, towards Zenko-ji in Nagano City! Supposedly, your luck will increase if you visit both of these temples.

The approach to the temple is lined with touristy shops and small cafes.

The complex itself was quiet and peaceful when I went.

This huge tree is said to have the power to connect people together.
