Goshuin number 37 is from 浅間山観音堂 (Mt. Asama Kannon Temple). It is built in the middle of the Onioshidashi Park as a monument to those who lost their lives during Mt. Asama’s huge eruption in the late 1700s.
The view from the temple was gorgeous!
I would love to visit again in winter and see the contrast between the black rocks and the white snow, but I’m not sure my car could handle it haha.
Here’s the stamp! It’s got a little bit of gold on it!
