御朱印第35号ー春日山神社

IMG_5711

Goshuin number 35 is from 春日山神社 (Kasugayama Shrine). This shrine can be found at the bottom of the Kasugayama Castle Ruins, a park located on top of a mountain in Joetsu, Niigata.

There’s a nice-sized parking lot for those who want to check out the shrine and ruins, and the view from the stairs is beautiful!

This building houses a mikosha, a portable shrine. They’re carried by people during festival parades!
