Goshuin number 34 is from 清水寺 (Kiyomizu Temple), a gorgeous temple on a hill in Kyoto. Fun fact: the main building was built without nails!!
This is one of the first temples I ever went to in Japan! It’s also one of the most famous in the Kyoto area, so if you go, be prepared for LOTS of people.

…unless you go super early and during the off season (taken on my first visit!).
Unfortunately, the main building was under construction when I went, but this pagoda wasn’t!
Here’s a hint of what the temple looks like. Taken when I studied abroad a few years back!
There was a beautiful display of wind chimes on the path leading into the temple.
Here’s the stamp!
