Goshuin number 23 is from 榛名神社 (Haruna Shrine), a shrine built among huge boulders!
The path up to this shrine is about 700 meters long and takes you through a quiet, green forest, past a small waterfall, and next to a beautiful pagoda. There’s also a section that’s enclosed by a landslide cage! One cool thing is up at the top, at the shrine shop, you can get an omikuji (fortune) that can only be read after getting the paper wet. There was a line of people buying them and another line back down the trail at the designated fountain!
